HVAC Repairs: While inspecting the client’s HVAC system, I found that the defrost cycles were not operating properly due to a malfunctioning defrost control board. I replaced the control board, tested defrost functions, and confirmed the system was now running efficiently and conserving energy during the defrost cycle.
The technicians installed a 14.3 SEER2 Heat Pump with Single Stage Furnace and New Ductwork for home. We still need to go back for the rest of the flue, startup, drain and gas. The plumbers have not ran gas line to the closet or a plumbing drain to the closet and the electrician has not ran the high voltage to the disconnect, the flexible flue that Locke gave us was single wall and we cannot go from double wall to single wall so we couldn’t finish the flue. The duct work is complete, the furnace is installed minus the gas, drain and flue and the condenser is completed. The technicians removed the furnace and re-installed a new 96% furnace. We got everything except the drain done with the furnace as well as we got the supply boots and the return box moved to where the customer wanted. When we come back to do the drain and the startup we will need a Honeywell t6 thermostat and possibly a condensate pump for the drain. Everything else Is complete and waiting for inspection.
The technicians installed a new 2.5 ton Daikin mini split system. We made sure everything was level, the drain was draining, there were no leaks in the flare fittings and that everything worked properly. Everything is set and ready to go.
The technicians installed a 14.3 SEER2 AC with Single Stage Furnace. We made sure everything was level and up to code in our area. We also air sealed everything with mastic and adjusted the refrigerant charge to ensure proper operation. We also changed a supply run out from 6 to 8 inch, and upsized the guest bedroom from 4 to 6 inch. Everything is working great and we started the heat and ensured proper operation with that as well.
Service call for a mini split in a garage. Customer stated there was a hissing sound and the room was smoky. Technician found a large hole in the evaporator coil. Customer wants some estimates on replacement of the mini split with a better quality unit.

Today we performed your annual plumbing inspection and water heater flush that is included with your friends and family membership. After inspection of water heater we found that the unit is not up to code and has small leaks on the hot outlet and on the cold inlet. The expansion tank is not supported, cold side is missing hammer arrestors, the drain port is not a full port and is made of plastic, and gas supply is missing sediment trap. During the flush we didn’t notice any abnormal amounts of sediment. The water heater has a build date of 2020 making unit 4 years old. We visually inspected all external plumbing fixtures inside house and no signs of corrosion or leaks were found during inspection. Everything is working properly at this time.
Central Air Conditioning System Repairs: Replaced a damaged evaporator coil that had caused refrigerant leaks and cooling inefficiencies. After the repair, the system was recharged, restoring full cooling capacity.
The technicians installed a new coil and condenser. We made sure everything was level, up to code, air sealed everything with mastic, adjusted the refrigerant pressure and flushed the refrigerant lines. Everything is working perfectly and good to go.
Service call for a unit that was tripping a breaker until the compressor blew up. Technician found the terminals had blown out of the compressor and the system had last all refrigerant. A quote was given for the proper repairs to be made and the customer is also going to get some quotes on a replacement before making a decision.
Annual maintenance on a 2011 Trane single stage 80% furnace. The system is in great shape and running as designed here today. The blower wheel is starting to get some duct build up and the evaporator coil is missing a safety switch on the secondary drain port. Changed the (2) 14x30x1 filters here today and the system is ready for the winter months ahead.

Navies tankless water heater is not getting hot and has an error code 3. This code indicates that no gas is being provided to the unit. Checked and verified that there is gas being delivered to the unit. After more troubleshooting, it was determined that the circuit board is faulty. There is signs of water present on bottom of heat exchanger which is the possible cause to short out the circuit board. Provided customer with an estimate to replace tankless unit with a Rheem Ikonic tankless water heater.
Installed temporary condenser
Service call for a 2022 Goodman system not cooling. Technician arrived to find the low voltage fuse at the outdoor unit blown. Replaced the fuse and the system started up but the compressor is broken internally. The compressor sounds terrible and is not moving any refrigerant here today. We will be in contact with the manufacturer to find out the next steps for warranty work.
Service call for a second opinion on a system that is down. Technician found the 2001 Goodman system has a compressor that is shorted to ground and it immediately trips the breaker. Given the systems age and that the system has the old refrigerant r22 and the repairs would be very expensive so it’s suggested that the customer replace the system.
Annual maintenance on a 2011 Rheem air conditioner. The system is in overall good health. The contactor is showing its age with the contact points black and burnt. The refrigerant levels are high here today causing some extra stress on the compressor and higher amp draws. The system is missing a secondary switch on the evaporator coil and surge protection was recommended for to protect the system.
7/30/2024 Performed home plumbing inspection. Checked all bathroom faucets, drains, supply lines, and shutoff valves, all are in good condition. Checked toilets, supply lines and shutoff valves, all are in good condition. Kitchen faucet, supply lines, shutoff valves, disposal and drain are all in good condition. Laundry connections and hoses are good. Outside faucets are good. Flushed water heater and verified is properly up to code. No issues were found at this time.
Warranty call on a Daikin mini split. The condensate pump was full of gunk and had the float stuck open. The pump was running all the time causing an annoying noise. Cleaned the bowl out and the system is operating as it should here today.
