Single system tune up on a 3 year old Armstrong air heat pump. The system is in great shape. All the electric motors are amping correctly. Today we added some refrigerant to get the system to the correct levels.

Installed a new soft start kit on the ac condenser. The customer wanted a soft start to prevent a hard start of the compressor when the house is running under a generator.

Performed yearly hvac maintenance on a Rheem air conditioning system and Rheem gas furnace. Went through full AC maintenance and furnace maintenance checklists. The system looks good at this time will come back to check the charge in air conditioner mode to accurately determine refrigerant levels.

High limit switch on the furnace had failed. Repaired the furnace with a temporary switch and will return next week with an OEM part to complete the furnace repair.
