The guys came out inspected everything, but of course the system was working as it was supposed and wouldn’t act up. they turned equipment off and on several times and went through everything to make sure it was working properly. They showed me that the air filter was beyond help and needs to be replaced. Great job

A brief review

Chris’ demeanor and candor was exceptional. I inadvertently misunderstood some of the context of the conversation and within a few moments he was able to clarify and clear up my confusion. I think that his explanation of the process and his role within the process helped to alleviate any concerns I had about the proposed course of action. He clearly identified that the current system in the house was inching nearer to the end of expected service life. He proposed several cost saving options and helped guide my decision. My only criticism, which may just be specific to this instance, is that it may be very beneficial to the customer for the repair technician to clearly state that the repair technicians does not have the ability to provide whole system replacement recommendations. So it may be useful to lay out that info at the beginning. “I can only provide repair options, but if you want yo discuss whole system replacements you need to talk to Cody.” Because I didn’t have the puzzle piece above, when Chris asked me for the second timr “Are you really sure you want to do this?”, a lot of very conflicting thoughts occurred simultaneously. For example: He asked me this already, what exactly am I missing? Is he attempting to suggest that buying these products are a bad investment and I should, in fact, buy a new system entirely? If so, why didn’t he cover this option before he left and came back? Well anyway, it was a hot 30 seconds before Chris, thankfully, realized where I was confused. When he clarified that his role as a repair technician simply eliminated his ability to provide any context around buying a new system and that if I wanted to have the discussion about a new system that I would need to talk with Cody, everything seemed to fall in place and was good. So uh sorry for the novel. The tl;dr version is: Chris is a good employee and seems to care about helping folks and thankfully had the patience and grace to help me figure it out.

We had Ryan, Chris and Piper here today. They installed a new AC unit. They started at 7 am and worked until they had everything completed. Our attic is a hot box! I have no idea how they worked so hard and efficiently in that heat. They finished the job and were all 3 professional, friendly, and efficient. We were also impressed with Cody, our sales rep too. Two system ac maintenance on a 24 year old Goodman and a 9 year old Goodman. The systems are functional but the older condensers compressor is amping very high and does not sound good. The repairs were discussed with the customer and they want to ride it out for now.

Two system A/C Maintenance Tune Up on two 3 year old Trane systems. Technician checked all safety devices and components that are in use during the A/C season to ensure proper operation. Technician changed all filters, Filter sizes- 2 14x24x1 and 1 20x25x5. Both systems are running excellent at this time.

17.2 SEER2 Variable Speed AC and Two Stage 80% Efficient Furnace with variable speed fan. Installed New Condenser pad as well as installed Hefty feet under condenser for snow grade. Technician reconnected to existing copper lines, High voltage, Low voltage, Supply and Return plenums, Flue pipe, Gas pipe, finally drain pipe. Technician installed Surge protectors and a germicidal Uv bulb to help eliminate any Bacterias, Allergens, Airborne Viruses, As well as Black Substance growth that grow within the HVAC Systems. Installed New thermostat. Technicians performed furnace start up and A/C start ups. System works great at this time.

Found the downstairs condenser fan motor not turning on found the capacitor bad on the fan side. Replaced the capacitor with a new 45/5 and the system is cooling properly at this time. Will return Wednesday to preformed the maintenance.

Preformed yearly air conditioning maintenance. Found the upstairs system leaking in the evaporator coil causing the unit to be low on 410a refrigerant checked all capacitors contacts and motor amperages. System needs to be fixed and recharged to properly cool during the hot days. The master unit is a 1994 Rheem system that is low on r22 refrigerant the contactor is showing lots of charring the blower motor bearings are really loose the system is not cooling properly at this time. The main system is a 2022 American standard system checked all components and refrigerant levels. System is working as it should as of now.

Found the unit kicking off on duct temperature sensor. Found the unit low on refrigerant technician will need to perform a full system leak search to pinpoint the leak. The unit was manufactured 10/2022 so it was install within the past few months. The tenant mentioned that within the last week or two another company had came out an added refrigerant and the unit is already low.

Service call No Cool, Technician arrived to the outdoor fan motor really hot and not running. Technician diagnosed a bad condenser fan motor as well as a pretty rough looking Contactor switch. Customer wanted the Contactor and motor replaced the A/C System is running great at this time.

Technician did yearly tune up on two Lennox systems. Technician washed out the units and got them looking good. Technician checked all amp draws on the units and checked all the capacitors. Technician found that the compressor for the downstairs was locked up and not work. Technician gave the customer option to fix it. Customer wants to go through with the option presented. Everything is working properly at this time.

Preformed yearly air conditioning maintenance on two 2012 American standard systems. Found the downstairs system slightly over charged still but cooling properly. Both systems look good other then the slight over charge. Customer is going to wait it out as far as repairing.

Two system tune up on new Goodman systems. Both systems are in good shape after adding some refrigerant. The systems were installed in the winter time so we were unable to check the refrigerant levels with low ambient temperatures.

Service call No Cool, Technician arrived to the system not running at all. Technician found the drain pan was full of water setting off a water safety switch. Technician did some further diagnosis to determine why the water got into the drain pan and found out the drain line is backed up. Blew the drain out to remove clogg. System works great at this time.

Preformed a yearly air conditioning maintenance on two brand new Trane systems. Found both systems cooling properly at this time no issues where found. Recommend adding a uv bulb to help with the indoor air quality and surge protectors to the systems.

Technicians did a yearly tune up n a two system house one was a Rheem and one was a Goodman. Technicians washed out the condenser and wiped the outside with ac shine to give it that new look. Technician also checked all amp draw on the motors and capacitors. Technicians also checked refrigerant charge on the units and found that one of the systems was low. Technician gave the customer several options, customer wants to replace the evaporator coil and put surge protectors on the outside units. Everything is working properly at this time.

Found the SS2 tripped due to the coil freezing up. Added 4lbs of 410a to the system and the unit is cooling at this time but will eventually leak back down recommend replacing the coil to prevent future problems.

Technicians checked line voltage that is going to the unit and also checked the refrigerant levels of the system. Everything is working properly at this time.

Service call for the hvac system making a loud noise. Found the blower wheel had broken and the bearings on the blower motor sounded rough. Replaced both here today and installed a surge protector as well. The system is back up and cooling for our new friends and family club member.

Also found the contactor on the outdoor unit internally shorted out with a very weak capacitor. All repairs were made with parts off of the truck to get out customer back up and going the same day.
