Technician arrived performed system tune up on 2 systems found many problems discussed with homeowners and they are interested in replacement. Made appointment with Tim.
Technician arrived and performed AC tuneup on 2 20-year-old r22 systems found both compressors to be over amping however, the downstairs compressor was 30 Amps over its rated limit and is having trouble starting, making a loud grinding noise when I pulled disconnect and put it back in, It didn’t start back the first time. Cannot repair due to type of refrigerant recommend replacement. Explained everything to homeowner. Homeowner is interested in replacement options and Set an appointment with Tim Holt.
Annual maintenance on a 2019 Goodman system. The unit is in great shape and needs no repairs at this time. The blower speed had been previously adjusted to a slower speed so it was adjusted here today. The new speed setting got the temp difference in an acceptable range.

Technician found the Upstairs systems Contactor switch is looking really rough and needs to be replaced and the Compressor motor is pulling high amps on start up needs an Hardstart kit. The Downstairs A/Cs compressor motor is pulling high amps on start up needs an Hardstart kit as well. Technician made several options for repairs.

Service call for a system not cooling. Technician found the system very low on refrigerant. Added 7 lbs of r410a to get the system right at the manufacture required sub cooling.

The technicians performed a friends and family maintenance on two, 10 year old air conditioners. We checked all of the motors, capacitors, monitored the refrigerant charges, temperature differences, static pressures and washed out the condensers. We found that the upstairs system is over amping on start up and the downstairs system is low on refrigerant. We found a leak in the downstairs evaporator coil, and the customer is getting options to replace the coil and fill the system back up.

Technicians found the Downstairs A/C has a Contactor switch looking rough, and the capacitor for the fan motor is weak. The Upstairs A/C is low on refrigerant, The Contactor switch is in rough shape, The Compressor motor capacitor is weak, The Compressor motor is pulling super high amps on start up. The upstairs is in bad shape needs to be replaced. The leak is in the indoor coil. Customer got pre-approved for $55,000 and would like Tim to come out and give estimates on replacement.

Technicians performed a new furnace start up and made sure a/c came on. Technicians will return on a warmer day to check refrigerant levels. Everything works great at this time.
