Service call to check on a unit that was previously repaired. The system is constantly tripping the breaker. Technician checked all components and the capacitors are good and the contactor is new. It took three attempts for the compressor to start here today and all three attempts were high amp draws. The relay on the hard start kit was buzzing very loud after the first attempt. The system finally started up and is running and cooling but the compressor sounds rough. The customer wants quotes for a new condenser.

Service call for a second opinion on a 2007 Lennox system. The system is severely low on r22 refrigerant and not cooling at all. The compressor is pulling high amps while running. The contactor is in rough shape and the blower motor capacitor is also weak. The supply plenum and main duct is covered in what appears to be mold. The customers are going to get some options on replacement.

Complementary service call for a blower motor not coming on. Customer has replaced the blower motor and the blower motor capacitor. The control board is not sending power to the blower motor and needs to be replaced. The 2001 system is still running on r22 and it is suggested to replace the unit with a repair like this.

The technicians installed a new coil and condenser. We made sure everything was level and up to code in our area. We also air sealed everything with mastic, blew the drain line out and adjusted the refrigerant charge. Everything is set and ready to go.

Annual maintenance on a 2014 carrier unit. The system is in great shape and running as it should here today. All amp draws were within the manufactures specifications, the capacitors tested good, and the refrigerant levels are right where they need to be. The system is cooling great.

Annual maintenance on two 2008 Lennox systems. The systems are running and cooling as they should here today. The upstairs compressor is testing in the caution zone and the blower motor capacitor is very weak. The condensing fan motor on the upstairs system is also leaking oil out of the bearings showing signs of failure. Neither system has a wet switch on the secondary port of the evaporator coil. Some estimates will be sent to the customer.

Service call for a system struggling in the heat of the day. The metering device was not changed with the condenser and was restricting the evaporator coil. Installed a Txv in place of the piston metering device to provide better performance of the system.

For this job, Customer states the A/C system was not keeping up yesterday. Technician arrived to the system working. Technician checked over the whole system to verify proper operation. The outdoor temp is 77 and the refrigerant levels look pretty decent. Customer states she had a floor drain issue yesterday about the same time, that could be the issue. System is working at this time.

Service call for a unit struggling in the afternoons. Technician found the system running and cooling but not as efficiently as it should. The existing 2005 coil has the wrong metering device restricting the refrigerant into the coil causing a low suction pressure. The customer wants to replace the metering device and get the system operating as it should. The appropriate parts will be ordered and replaced at a later date.
