Service call for a 2013 Goodman air conditioner not coming on. Technician arrived to find no high voltage power to the outdoor unit. After turning the breaker on the system is working fine. The blower motor is very dirty and needs to be cleaned but all the amp draws and the outdoor capacitor are in good shape. Also the refrigerant levels are good but the high side pressure was surging here today.

Service call for a roof top unit not cooling at a local business. Technician arrived to find the blower motor not coming on. The motor has all the correct power coming in and the capacitor is good but the windings are all melted and the blower motor is not responding on any speed tap.

Annual maintenance on a 2021 American Standard air conditioner. The system is in great shape but the refrigerant levels are low causing poor cooling. Added two pounds of refrigerant and got the system cooling as designed here today. Also discussed the importance of a safety switch on the evaporator coil but the customer wants to wait on that.

Annual air conditioning maintenance on a 2018 Trane. The system is in great shape and running as it should here today. Changed the filters and cleaned the condensing coil. Checked all amp draws, capacitors, and refrigerant levels.

Maintenance call on a 2021 Daikin air conditioner. The system is in good health but the blower motor on the furnace is very dirty and has poor air flow across the evaporator coil. Technician suggested cleaning the blower wheel at minimum and replacement of the blower wheel to be proactive.

Inspected the heater due to the presence of carbon monoxide yesterday. Inspected the heat exchanger and the flue exhaust the unit if from 2018 found no cracks and no exhaust leaks. The customer stated that at the time of the detector going off the thermostat was turned off and they hadn’t used the heater for awhile. The unit looks okay at this time. The customer was also cooking in a inclosed patio when it went off.

Annual ac maintenance on two 2009 Goodman systems. The systems on a rental duplex have been well maintained and all components are in good shape. The LRA was slightly over the data plate on both systems so we will keep an eye on that moving forward.

Service call for a noise coming from the furnace. After a recent air conditioner tune up there was a noise coming from the furnace. Technician found the inducer motor rattling and the bearings are loose but not over amping. Adjusted the cooling fan wheel and bracket holding the inducer on and fixed the rattle.

Maintenance call on a 2011 air conditioner. The system is in great shape and running as efficiently as possible after some routine cleaning. The compressor windings fell in the caution zone so we will keep an eye on that moving forward.

Maintenance call for a 2011 Lennox ac system. The system is in fair shape but showing its age. Replaced the capacitor on the condenser today with a 5 year warranty. The compress Windings are in the caution zone and the system is missing a wet switch on the secondary port of the evaporator coil. Also the system is low on refrigerant and has been for a while now. Technician performed a duct sanitation on the system here today as well.

The system is a little over charged but cooling effectively here today. The LRA was also a little over the rated limit on the data plate.

Maintenance call for a 2021 Lennox ac and a Samsung mini split. The mini split is in great shape after some routine cleaning. The split system is drawing to much power on start up so a hard start kit will be installed at a later date to keep the amp draws down and prolong the life of all the components.

For this job, technicians install a new Goodman condenser and horizontal furnace, technicians performed a system start up and everything works great at this time. Technician had to drop attic ladder and installed new copper lines, drain pan, and SS2 switch.

The technician performed a friends and family club maintenance on two 2008 Lennox air conditioners. I checked all motors, capacitors, monitored the refrigerant levels, static pressure, temperature differences and the contactor switches. I found that the downstairs blower motor capacitor is low and the compressor is over amping on start up, as well as the upstairs is really low on charge. I recommended a capacitor and hardstart for the downstairs.

Service call for a free second opinion on a down unit. The system has a complete lose of refrigerant due to a hole in the discharge line off of the compressor. The damage done to the compressor is unknown so a replacement unit is suggested here today.

Annual furnace maintenance on a 2020 high efficiency Trane unit. The system is in great heath here today. Adjusted the manifold gas pressure to ensure the system is running as efficiently as possible. Also found a leak in the flue pipe and glued the fitting to prevent future leaks. Customer complained of lots of dust in the home. Found a couple of air leaks that were sealed up here today as well.

Furnace tune up on a 2020 American standard. The system has never had maintenance so the gas pressure was adjusted to the correct level here today as well as some routine cleaning. All the electrical motors are within the manufacturer’s specifications at this time and the system is working as it should. The customer installed a new nest thermostat and the common wire needed to be hooked up inside the furnace today as well.

Warranty call for a blower motor that was making a vibrating noise. Removed the blower motor and inspected the squirrel cage and blower wheel. Everything appears to be fine here today. Added some additional screws when reinstalling the motor to prevent any vibrations. While here today the mini split on the shop was also inspected. Customer stated that the heat pump was frozen with lots of ice during the last cold snap. Checked all thermistors and refrigerant levels here today. The system is running as it should at this time.
