HVAC Repair: Diagnosed and replaced a malfunctioning condenser fan motor, restoring HVAC system functionality and preventing overheating.

For this job, Technician arrived to the Amana S system not communicating to the outdoor unit only the furnace and indoor EEV coil. Technician found the surge protector was not glowing three lights only one. Technician opened up the disconnect to find that one sides fuse was dead and the other side was good. Technician replaced both fuses and system works great at this time. The system is not pulling too much power and all components look good. Customer states the outdoor unit was super super dirty which more than likely cause the fuse to pop.

Arrived and drained existing 50 gal gas water heater. Pulled from closet and reworked water lines. Installed new ball valve, hammer arrestors, supply lines, and expansion tank. Set new heater and hooked up water. Turned on and bled air from lines inside home. Hooked up gas with sediment trap and new supply line. Lit water heater and informed customer they should have hot water in roughly 45-60 minutes.

Service call for a customers home not feeling as comfortable as it has in the past. Technician arrived and inspected both systems. The downstairs system had good refrigerant levels, good temperature split, but a high return static pressure. Replaced the return air filter and the the static pressure came down. The upstairs system is also running and cooling as it should with a good temperature split and good refrigerant levels.

Arrived and completed a thorough evaluation of all plumbing inside the home. Checked all faucets for proper flow and no leaks. Checked all drains for proper draining and no leaks. Inspected all toilets for proper flush with no issues or leaks around base or tank. Inspected water heater for any signs of rust or leaks. Tested house water pressure and it reads 65psi. Water heater code upgrades are recommended. Expansion tank, hammer arrestors, sediment trap at gas valve.

Condensate drain tube was Bearly missing the edge of floor drain causing water from furnace to run along outside edge of floor drain. Placed condensate tube to center of floor drain. Inspected water heater and verified there is no leaks coming from water heater and from drain valve at bottom of tank.

Customer declined interior home plumbing inspection. Customer requested to flush water heater only. Water heater in garage needs replaced due to age, and is not up to code.

Today we completed your annual plumbing inspection and water heater flush that is included in your family and friends membership. The inspection consisted of inspecting all exposed plumbing fixtures and drains. All fixtures are in working order with no leaks at this time. Customer replaced kitchen sink and water heater recently. Water heater is just over a year old according to the date written on door next to it. We also checked the incoming water pressure and it was at 70 psi which is right where we like to see it. Customer states when he was replacing water heater he noticed the old gate valve wouldn’t shut off completely. Will include an estimate to replace in the future.

Annual maintenance on two systems. The 4 ton 2023 Lennox system for the downstairs is in great shape. The upstairs system is a 2 and a half ton 1999 Lennox. The system had some wires melted together and sparking on the contactor that were repaired here today. The capacitor is weak, the condensing fan motor bearings are in bad shape, and the contactor is buzzing loudly. The system is running and cooling at this time.

Annual maintenance on two brand new carrier air conditioners. Both systems are in great shape and running as they should here today. Washed the condensers and changed the filters. Also checked all amp draws and capacitors on the system.

Removed old toilet and installed new American standard cadet pro elongated Ada height. Checked flange while old stool was off and everything was in good shape. Installed new toilet and verified proper function and that no leaks were present. Everything is working properly at this time.

Today we performed annual plumbing inspection that is included in your friends and family membership. We visually inspected all accessible plumbing fixtures and drains. We flushed the water heater and checked the function of all drains and faucets. Checked the water pressure of the house and found it was at 61 psi which is right where we like to see it. Everything is working properly at time of inspection. Customer states that they have not noticed any plumbing issues lately.

For this job, Customer just wanted to know what the noise was on the outdoor unit and is not doing repairs any repairs today. Technician arrived to find the outdoor units condensing fan motors bearings are going out causing a squealing noise. Customer is not going to replace it till it fails. Has a back up unit for when it goes down.

The technicians performed a friends and family club maintenance on a twelve year old air conditioner. We washed out the condenser, cleaned the control panel out, changed the air filters, monitored all of the motors, checked the capacitors and insured the refrigerant charge was correct. We found that the condensing fan motors capacitor was reading low and that the blower wheel is pretty dirty, the customer decided to go ahead and replace the capacitor and hold off on the blower wheel cleaning. Everything is working great at this time.

Recall for a blower motor that was continuously running. Technician left a jumper wire on the control board that was constantly calling for the fan. Removed the jumper wire and the system is operating as it should.

The technicians installed a new furnace, we made sure it was level, air sealed it with mastic and put new return plenums on each side. Everything is working great and ready to go.

Service call for a system making a loud vibration noise in the attic. Technician found a paper towel stuck in the blower wheel. Removed the paper towel and the system is running smooth again.

Technician arrived to find the system not cooling adequately upon further diagnosis. Technician found that the blower motor in the blower wheel are both at the end of its life. The blower wheel is starting to slip and not move as much air as well as the blower motor is leaking oil and not capacitor is good, technician will reach out to Lennox in the morning and get repair replaced cost and let the customer know

The technicians installed a new 14.3 SEER2 AC with Mobile Home Gas Furnace. We made sure everything was level and up to code in our area. We also air sealed it with mastic, vacuumed to manufacture specifications, blew out the drain line, flushed the refrigerant lines and adjusted the refrigerant charge. We weren’t able to run the flu due to the shingles’s being over the old roof flashing, we were told another technician would be out next week to run it, we left the new flu with the roof flashing at the house. Everything else is ready to go and the gas valve is set to off on the unit so the heat can not run.

Arrived and removed existing toilet. Installed new wax ring and confirmed flange was in good shape. Set new toilet and mounted to the floor. Tested for proper flushing with no leaks or wobbles. We appreciate your business and look forward to further serving you in the future!

Maintenance call on a 2013 Trane air conditioner. The system is in great shape and running as it should here today. The blower motor bearings are loose and the capacitor is barely about the lowest limit of the manufacturer’s specifications so some estimate were made on those repairs. The customer wants a toilet replaced and we will be back on Tuesday after to install the new one.

Service call to replace some previously quoted repairs. Replaced the blower motor and blower motor capacitor on a 2000 model Armstrong air furnace. Installed a secondary wet switch on the evaporator coil. Replaced a contactor on the 2017 concord condenser and got the system in good shape here today.

Maintenance call on a 2018 carrier air conditioner. The system is in great shape and running as it should here today. Checked all electric motor amp draws, capacitors, and contactors. Refrigerant levels are right where they need to be. The customer stated they have some hot/cold rooms in the home so some estimates were made for dampers to be able to adjust the airflow.

Annual maintenance on a 2012 Rheem ac. The system was drawing over the rated LRA so a hard start kit was installed here today to keep the amp draws lower. The system is missing a wet switch on the secondary port of the evaporator coil so a wet switch will be installed at a later date. The system is working as it should here today.
