Thermostat was set to cool
Technician arrived and found that the evaporator coil and line set was a frozen block of ice will have to return first thing in the morning to diagnose. Technician arrived and cycled the system took pressure readings and evaluated. The system found that the system was actually running perfectly. Nothing was wrong. Possible air restriction told the home owner to watch the system and call if anything starts acting up homeowner also renewed her membership.
Technician arrived on site and performed a re-diagnosis of an eight-year-old Goodman 410a system with the homeowner. Found that the compressor was in fact shorted to ground. System is under a 10 year warranty. Explained to the homeowner all of the great benefits of being part of our friends and family club Homeowner is moving forward with repairs And is now a part of our friends and family.
For this job, Technician arrived to the thermostat throwing a low battery code. The wireless sensor is low on battery. Customer replaced the battery and the code went away.

Technician arrived and found that the pressures were low. We installed the system over the winter system was 2 pounds low. I filled it up and is running great now.
Preformed a yearly air conditioning maintenance on two systems found the main pulling OL on start up. The master is just under the max allowed amps on start up and the contactor is making noise and burning up. Recommend replacing the contactor and adding hard starts to lower the amps.

Homeowner did not want to move forward with anything today because she had just bought two surge protectors in the winter.
Service call for a condensation issue causing mold. Technician arrived to find the evaporator coils and supply plenum covered in mold. The mold had grown throughout the duct system and is on multiple supply grills. The customer wants to get some quotes on a replacement system and treatment options.
Technician arrived and performed a three system AC tuneup found some concerns. Homeowners will expect repairs in the future however systems are currently running.
Annual ac maintenance for a friends and family club member. The 2016 model Trane unit is in great shape and running as it should here today. The refrigerant levels were to high so the charge was adjusted here today to where the manufacturer wants it. The system is running r great and ready for the summer months ahead.
Technician arrived and found a 1993 furnace that was hit by a surge and it fried the blower motor, the control board and the transformer there are burn marks all throughout the furnace and it smells like smoke I presented options for solutions and recommended replacement to the homeowner. However, she said that she she is moving on June 1 to move her due to having to have hip replacement surgery homeowner did not want to move forward with anything and said that she’s giving the house back to the bank and she’ll just just let them know it’s broken. Homeowner paid the dispatch fee with $100 bill
Service call for a unit short cycling. Technician arrived to the unit running fine but it’s an intermittent problem. The customer stated they have had some recent power surges. The equipment looks fine and the wet switches are dry. The thermostat is faulty quickly clicking on and off. The customer didn’t want the thermostats we offer and is going to order a thermostat.
For this job, Technician performed an A/C maintenance tune up on two 16 year old Trane systems. Technician checked all safety devices and components that are in use during the A/C season. Technician found the Downstairs systems compressor motor is pulling high amps, needs a hardstart kit. The Upstairs system is low on refrigerant leaking within the indoor coil, The Contactor switch is looking pretty rough, The capacitor is getting weak, The supply plenum is growing some black substance, as well as the compressor motor is pulling over the max amps. The Upstairs system is in some rough shape don’t see it lasting the summer time. Customer would like for Tim to call them to set up a time to come and go over replacement options. Customer is interested in a variable speed system does not want a builders grade installed.
Annual maintenance on four systems. All systems are new and working as they should here today. Checked all amp draws, capacitors, static pressure, and refrigerant levels. Also washed all four condensers out and checked for proper operation. Replaced the one inch filters and left the 5” filters until the fall tune up.
